Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty (Nose Reshaping)

Non-surgical rhinoplasty, commonly referred to as a non-surgical nose job, can enhance the appearance of the nose, correcting dips, troughs and bumps by injecting very small volumes of dermal filler.

It is a non-invasive treatment, also used to correct asymmetry and to enhance the shape of the nose, often following nose surgery.

    Hello Cathy,

Does these fillers affect breathing? and what if i was not satisfied with the result, what can i do ? or i have to wait until it vanish.

    thank you

    • Costhetics says:

      Hi Raya,
Thanks for your question. No, these fillers will not affect your ability to breathe. The effect of these dermal fillers is generally not reversible, but it is also not permanent. Depending on the specific dermal filler used, the effect may last a few months to a year or longer. If you are concerned about not liking its effect on your nose shape, you might wish to consider one of the shorter-duration formulations.

Hi i have a bent nose was wondering how much it might cost for an upliftment ….

    • Costhetics says:

      Hi Sohil,
Thanks for your question! The costs of rhinoplasty surgery is usually between $8000 and $15000 (AUD), while non-surgical nose reshaping is less expensive. These costs vary considerably from doctor to doctor, and the costs of non-surgical treatments depend on the type and volume of filler injected. We advise you to consult with a local practitioner; you will receive an estimate of the potential costs during the initial consultation session.

I’m quite unhappy with the hump on my nose, but I don’t feel ready for surgery at the moment. I woner how much that would be and how long it’d last?

    • Costhetics says:

      Hi Liz,

Trying out a different look with fillers is definitely an option if you aren’t ready for surgery. In fact, you can even try having the surgeon you are considering do inject the dermal fillers for you so you can also get a feel if you feel confident with them.

Fillers can last from 6-12 months, but it depends from patient to patient and the type of filler used.

The nose doesn’t require much product so the cost will be relatively low compared to having fillers in multiple areas of the face (say around $1000 AUD).

You can have a look here to see which practitioners offer dermal fillers near you.

Alternatively, you can use this search to find surgeons who perform rhinoplasty.

Hey , I just wanted to ask you , I have this bumpy wave on the tip of my nose and it doesn’t look good from the sides , I wanted too ask you if that could be shaped and make it small without a surgical nose job?

  • katy says:

Hi, I’m intersted in non surgical rhinoplasty. My nostrils are too open and I’d like to lower them a little. Can it be done without surgery? And what filler is the best to use?

    • Costhetics says:

      Hi Katy,

Thanks for your question. Nostril reshaping with dermal fillers is not common – usually they areused for profile adjustments and nasal tip adjustments. Depending on your nose, it may be possible to adjust your nostril shape using dermal fillers, but it would be impossible to say without a proper consultation. Have a look at our practitioner finder to locate a doctor near you who performs this procedure so you can find out for sure.

In terms of a filler type, usually a temporary or reversible filler is preferred, especially for the nose where the skin can be very fine (meaning deep injection of filler is not possible).

I dont like my large wide nose and deep set eyes. I am condsidering getting Rhinoplasty to improve my nose. Would this improve my deep set eyes as well?

    • Costhetics says:

      Hi Anita,
      Thank you for your enquiry.
Any form of cosmetic enhancement to your face, will change the entire look and balance of your face.
I suggest having a consultation with a surgeon who can advise you on how rhinoplasty would change the shape and profile of your face.
Some surgeons have software that can show you how you would look post surgery too.
Do you need help finding a surgeon? If so, please go to the practitioner search on this website and search for rhinoplasty.
      Best of luck Anita.

Hi, I am Jamie and I am from Germany. I am unhappy with my nose because my nosetip is hanging down and i have a Little bump on my nose too. Do you know if some doctors offer this Treatment in Germany and is it allowed at the Age of 16?

  • Caroline says:

I am considering getting the filler injected to fix the bump i have on my nose! I wanted to get it injected at the the very top of my nose to elevate it to make my bridge flat. Do you have arough estimate for how much that would cost? And i was also wondering if the fillers could be injected to fix asymmetrical nostrils?

    • Costhetics says:

      Hello Caroline,
Thank you for your enquiry. The bump on your nose can be injected very effectively with filler to correct this. You are looking around $770-$1000 depending on the product that is injected. The nostrils are more complex and really needs to be discussed in consultation with a doctor who specialises in non-surgical rhinoplasty. This part of the nose has many more blood vessels which needs to be taken into account when injecting into the nose. Generally it is recommended you have a non-permanent filler injected first to ensure you like the look and then you can have a more permanent filler injected. Your nostrils will need to be discussed with the doctor.

  • cathy says:

Hi, Im interested in permanent filler for my nose as i have flat nasal bridge. and was wondering the rough cost and how long will it last.

    • Costhetics says:

      Hello Cathy,

This depends on the doctor and the type of filler you choose to have. To start you could have non-permanent filler put into the bridge of your nose initially. This will help you decide the shape and quantity that you want. Once you are happy with this then you can decide which permanent filler you would like put in and the doctor can give you costs based on the quantity. Non-permanent filler for this procedures (as a rough guide) is around $800-$1000 depending on the brand. The filler does tend to last quite a while (around one year) because this is an area that does not move through expression and the filler seems to sit nicely.

Hope this is helpful for you and thanks for your question!

  • Jannett says:

Hi I was wondering how much it would cost if I were to have a non surgical nose job using a non-permanent filler to lift a nose tip and reduce the roundness? Thank you

    • Costhetics says:

      Hi Jannett,

Thanks for your question. We had to edit your comment unfortunately as Australian law prevents us from mentioning the brand names of scheduled substances on this site. However, there are a few different types and brands of filler available (varying from temporary to permanent).

Permanent fillers tend to cost more than non-permanent fillers, but for more information about particular brands and types as well as exact costs you should discuss this with your Doctor during a consultation. As a rough guide though for a semi-permanent dermal filler in your nose it’s around $800-$1000.
